Department of Transportation HazMat & Dangerous Goods Training
Function specific training is required for all HazMat employees under the U.S. DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations 49 CFR part 172.704 subpart H. HazMat Training is required within 90 days for new employees and must be repeated a minimum of every three years. We provide an exclusive educational experience by using expert instructors, engaging lectures and hands-on exercises.
Confined Space Technical Rescue Teams
Technical Rescue Teams can build advanced rope rescue emergency retrieval systems and provide supplied air units, personal protective equipment and medical trauma kids for rescue from a potentially deadly Permit Required Confined Space. Many facilities use our teams during plant shutdown as safety officers, fire watches or EMT’s. All of our team members are HazMat & Technical Rescue Technicians with many years of managing emergency situations.
Confined Space Entry and Rescue Training
Confined space simulators and fully equipped trailers provided an unforgettable educational experience. Participants will build retrieval systems, use air monitors, verify ventilation and learn how to eliminate hazards. Our instructors have managed thousands of hours of confined space entries and responded to actual medical emergencies.
Hospital First Receiver Hazardous Material Training
As a proven leader in Chemical Emergency Response Training, HazMat Solutions, Inc. is proud to offer our new hospital-based, first receiver programs for hospital personnel who are expected to triage and decontaminate arriving contaminated patients. Customized training programs challenge responders with worst-case scenarios for their community. Each student will receive hands-on training in personal protective equipment and mass decontamination as directed by the hospital incident command system. Participants will be able to apply the skills they have learned to recognize hazardous conditions and use safe work practices to prevent patient cross-contamination from a HazMat incident or WMD Event.
